ROOT & CRAFT was founded on a simple belief: that creating with your hands is one of the most grounding and restorative experiences available to us, and that it becomes even more meaningful when shared with others.
I'm Casandra, the founder and host of Root & Craft. I create intimate, thoughtfully curated workshops in Vancouver where small groups of people come together to be present, create, and connect — in a space that feels as good as it looks.

We bring creative experiences to private spaces, workplaces, and senior living environments. For all hands, all skill levels, all kinds of creativity.
Open to all — join a scheduled workshop and create alongside a small group of like-minded people. Beginner-friendly, all materials included.
Book a private session for a birthday, girls' night, bridal party, senior living community, or any meaningful gathering. Thoughtfully designed and fully customizable for your group.

What We Create
Four signature experiences, each designed to slow you down and create something beautiful by hand. Within each workshop category, guests can choose from a wide range of designs, textures, colours, scents, and other variations to create something that feels uniquely personal.

Small, intimate gatherings of 8–12 people. Beginner-friendly. Always thoughtful.
The Root & Craft Experience
Every detail is intentionally considered — from curated snacks and herbal teas to the finest materials and tools, thoughtfully prepared for you. You'll leave with something you've created by hand, and a sense of connection that lingers beyond the experience.
